Dr Rein Adamson has been a practising surgeon for over 40 years and has worked in Estonia’s largest public and private hospitals. Today, Dr Adamson is one of Estonia’s leading bariatric surgeons and one of the most experienced body contouring surgeons.

He manages Health Clinic’s Bariatric Surgery Department. He has worked at Health Clinic since it was established and is happy that he can work here with his son Dr Martin Adamson.

In 2004, Dr Rein Adamson organised the first bariatric surgery in Estonia, which involved an Estonian being fitted with a gastric band at Mustamäe Hospital. At the time, the operating surgeon was a colleague from Finland who was assisted by Dr Adamson. To date, Dr Adamson has personally performed more than 2,000 bariatric surgeries.

Dr Adamson regularly attends training events and seminars in Europe and the United States to expand his knowledge in the fields of weight-loss surgery and aesthetic medicine.
