
Kristi Kalvik
Kristi joined the Health Clinic Weight Loss Clinic team in 2018 and advises patients who have undergone gastric bypass surgery on their successful weight loss journey. She graduated from the Tallinn University Institute of Psychology with a master’s degree in psychology and is a certified clinical psychologist. She has completed an elementary course on family therapy and special training in cognitive and behavioural therapy. She is currently also studying the methods of schema therapy.
Kristi has worked with post-operative patients in the Rehabilitation Department and is currently working mainly with patients with various psychiatric disorders at the Psychiatry Clinic of North Estonia Medical Centre. Her main tasks are assessing various psychiatric disorders and planning and conducting interventions and psychotherapy. Kristi is also a member of the Estonian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
